Avinor Invests in Safe at Sea's SeaRanger System

Safe at Sea, a Swedish company specializing in maritime safety solutions, has announced a new order from Avinor, the operator of airports in Norway. Avinor has decided to enhance the safety of Sørkjosen Airport in Northern Norway by investing in the SeaRanger system, Safe at Sea's flagship boat system.

The strategic location of Sørkjosen Airport, adjacent to water, necessitates a robust and reliable rescue preparedness system. The SeaRanger, developed in collaboration with the South African National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI), is designed to perform under demanding conditions. Its high buoyancy, stability in rough waters, and excellent maneuverability make it an ideal choice for such environments.

The delivery of the SeaRanger system is scheduled for the second quarter of 2025, with the order valued at approximately 650,000 SEK.
