Press Release: Bulletin from the Annual General Meeting 2024 in CDON AB

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2024 of CDON AB was held in Stockholm on 7 May 2024. The meeting adopted the income statement and balance sheet for the financial year 2023, decided not to pay a dividend, and carried forward the company's result. All Board members and the Chief Executive Officers were discharged from liability for the financial year 2023. The AGM re-elected four board members and elected one new member, Richard Shapiro. The registered accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers AB was re-elected as the company's auditor. The AGM also resolved on the remuneration for the Board members and the auditor, amended the Articles of Association, and authorised the Board to resolve on new issues of ordinary shares. CDON AB is the largest marketplace in the Nordic region, and its wholly-owned subsidiary Fyndiq AB operates a marketplace offering a wide range of bargain products.

Report: Interim report Q1 2024

CDON Group's Q1 report shows a decrease in total gross merchandise value (GMV) by 3% to SEK 397.2 million, and a 27% decrease in organic GMV for the CDON segment. However, net sales increased by 5% to SEK 95.8 million, and gross profit after marketing (GPAM) increased by 44% to SEK 44.3 million. EBITDA and EBIT amounted to SEK -2.2 million and SEK -26.7 million respectively. The company faced challenges due to Google's algorithm changes, closure of the Malmö office, and ongoing platform migration. Despite a tough quarter, the CEO remains confident in the company's long-term objective to become the leading marketplace in the Nordics.
