Sukoon Insurance PJSC has notified the Dubai Financial Market about the acceptance results of its offer to buy shares from the Arabian Scandinavian Insurance Company (P.S.C) – Takaful – Ascana Insurance (ASCANA). The offer period ended on April 1, 2024, and Sukoon now holds 93.0432% of ASCANA's share capital. Sukoon received acceptances for 2,411,030 shares, which represent 1.5656% of ASCANA's shares. The process of paying the proceeds of the offer to ASCANA shareholders will begin on or before April 5, 2024.

The Dubai Financial Market has announced the availability of a new contract series for equity future products from 5th April 2024. The July 2024 SSFs Contract Series includes futures for various securities such as AIRARB, ANSRI, ARMX, DEWA, DEYAAR, DFM, DFMGI, DIB, DIC, DU, EMAAR, EMPWR, EMRDEV, ENBD, GFH, SALIK, and SHUAA. These futures will be de-listed on 18th July 2024. The announcement is available on the DFM website. The Agility Public Warehousing Company has confirmed its Corporate Actions Schedule in compliance with the Boursa Kuwait Rulebook. The schedule pertains to the distribution of interim dividends to its shareholders registered on the record date, set at the end of the day on 18 April 2024. The Cum-Dividend Date is 15/04/2024, the Ex-Dividend Date is 16/04/2024, and the distribution of cash dividends is on 25/04/2024. The distribution of in-kind dividends is expected on 02/05/2024. The same schedule applies to both the Boursa Kuwait and the Dubai Financial Market.

The text is a disclosure clarifying the approval of agencies according to clauses 1 and 2 of Article 40 of the Corporate Governance Manual. It states that any shareholder with the right to attend the general assembly can delegate someone other than board members or company staff to attend on their behalf. This person should have a written delegation stating their right to attend the general assembly and vote on decisions, but they cannot have more than 5% of the company's issued capital. People lacking legal capacity must be represented by their legal representatives. The shareholder's signature on this power of attorney is also required.

The Board of Directors of Watania International Holding (PJSC) has invited shareholders to the Annual General Assembly Meeting. The agenda includes approval of the company's activity and financial position for the fiscal year ended 31 December 2023, approval of the auditor's report, balance sheet, and profit and loss account. The Board's recommendation to refrain from distributing dividends to shareholders for the same period will also be discussed. The meeting will also consider a proposal for remuneration of Board members, discharge the Board and external auditors from their liabilities, and appoint the external auditors for 2024. The meeting will also ratify the appointment of Mr. Rashid Mahboob Ali Musabeh Al Qubaisi as a successor to Mr. Shahab Lutfi Al Hormozi. Shareholders can register either physically or electronically. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, 24 April 2024.
