Mashreqbank PSC, headquartered in Dubai, UAE, held a Board of Directors meeting on 20th September 2024. The meeting, which started at 10:00 am, reviewed and approved the minutes from the previous meeting held on 11th September 2024 and discussed various topics related to the bank's business and activities. The letter, dated the same day, was addressed to Mr. Hamed Ahmad Ali, the CEO of Dubai Financial Market, and was signed by Shaima Al Obeidli, Head of Corporate Governance & Group Company Secretary. A copy of the letter was also sent to the Securities & Commodities Authority.

The company has become aware that its name, employees' names, and logo are being misused by scammers to advertise fraudulent investment opportunities and tenders online. These scammers are requesting personal, business, and financial information, including credit card and bank details, to pay tender fees or invest in the company. IHC emphasizes that it will never send tender requests or communications asking for personal, business, or financial information via email, mail, or any other means, nor will it ask for payments or investments through such methods. If you receive such a request claiming to be from IHC, treat it with caution and do not provide any sensitive information. Before making any payments to unknown sources, verify the legitimacy of emails or domains claiming to be from IHC by checking the sender’s email address. Official communications will always come from an “@ihcuae.com” domain. IHC advises the public to stay updated with the latest news by visiting their official website (ihcuae.com) or viewing regular news and disclosures on the ADX website (adx.ae).
AD Ports Group has signed agreements with two UAE banks to refinance its USD 2.25 billion syndicated loan, resulting in potential savings of up to AED 44 million (USD 12 million) in finance costs over the next 12 months. The new refinancing includes an AED 9.2 billion (USD 2.5 billion equivalent) medium-term facility with a 2.5-year maturity and an AED 1.0 billion (USD 273 million equivalent) short-term facility with a 1.5-year tenor. This move extends the Group's debt maturity to 2026 and beyond, providing greater financial flexibility and positioning the company to benefit from declining interest rates. The refinancing follows the US Federal Reserve's decision to start its interest rate easing cycle. AD Ports Group aims to use bonds as the primary long-term funding vehicle and is rated “A+” & “gcAAA” by S&P and “AA-” with a stable outlook by Fitch.
