Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company PJSC ("du") announced that the Ministry of Finance has extended the Federal Royalty and Corporate Tax regime for the telecommunications sector for three years, from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2029. Under this regime, a 38% Federal Royalty will apply to net profits in the UAE, and a 9% Corporate Tax will apply to net profits after the Federal Royalty deduction. The total annual payment for these taxes will not be less than AED 1.8 billion, and payments are due within five months after the fiscal year ends.
