Sammanfattning
Smoltek has announced a rights issue to raise approximately SEK 32 million, with key dates set in June 2025. The initiative is backed by significant commitments from management and shareholders.Smoltek, a pioneering company in nanotechnology, has announced its preliminary timetable for a rights issue scheduled for June 2025. This financial maneuver is designed to bolster the company's capital, supporting its ambitious growth plans in the semiconductor and hydrogen sectors.
The subscription period for the rights issue will run from June 9 to June 24, 2025, with trading in subscription rights occurring on the Spotlight Stock Market from June 9 to June 18, 2025. The preliminary outcome of the rights issue will be published on June 24, with the final results following on June 26. If the minimum subscription level is met, trading in paid subscribed shares will take place between weeks 27 and 28, 2025.
Under the terms of the rights issue, every existing share as of June 4, 2025, will grant the holder one subscription right. Twenty-five of these rights will allow the subscription of thirty-two new shares at a price of SEK 0.30 each. A full subscription could see Smoltek raise approximately SEK 32 million, before costs.
Notably, the rights issue is supported by significant commitments from Smoltek's management and board members, as well as existing shareholders and external investors. This includes commitments from CEO Magnus Andersson and former CEO Håkan Persson, among others, covering approximately 12.6% of the issue. Additionally, guarantee commitments cover around 41.3%, ensuring a minimum subscription level of 81.3% if the rights issue is subscribed to at least 40%.
Given the backing from key stakeholders and the company's strategic positioning in high-growth sectors, investors might consider holding their positions or even buying more shares. Smoltek's extensive patent portfolio and focus on disruptive technologies provide a solid foundation for future growth, making this rights issue an attractive opportunity for long-term investors.
