BPC Instruments Partners with SixRing for Biomethane Optimization

Sammanfattning

BPC Instruments has teamed up with SixRing to provide third-party evaluations and performance audits for biomethane producers, aiming to optimize feedstock use and enhance output.
BPC Instruments collaborates with SixRing to enhance biomethane production through independent evaluations and performance audits.

The biomethane industry is facing a pivotal challenge: the availability, quality, and variability of feedstocks. As producers seek to optimize their processes, the need for independent evaluation and transparent performance verification becomes paramount. Enter BPC Instruments, a Swedish-based technology leader in analytical instruments, which has announced a strategic partnership with SixRing. This collaboration aims to deliver third-party evaluations, transparent performance audits, and independent reporting to both SixRing and its customers.

Dr. Jing Liu, CEO of BPC Instruments, emphasizes the significance of their role in providing an evidence-based picture of new solutions like Stimulose. 'Many plant operators are looking for solutions that strengthen process stability and increase biomethane output. Our role is to provide a clear, evidence-based picture of what a new solution actually delivers in practice,' says Dr. Liu. This approach not only evaluates the effects of additives like Stimulose but also assesses the plant’s current biological performance, identifying improvement areas.

SixRing, currently in the commercialization phase of Stimulose, plans to include BPC’s assessment package in customer agreements across the EU and UK markets. This package covers both an initial performance benchmark and follow-up reviews during the first year of operation, providing operators with a solid foundation for long-term plant optimization.

Scott Treadwell, President of SixRing, expresses his satisfaction with the partnership, highlighting the credibility and analytical rigor that BPC brings to the table. 'We’re very pleased to partner with BPC. Their methodology and instruments represent the most reliable way to benchmark efficiency and they bring the credibility and analytical rigour that producers need,' says Treadwell.

Given BPC Instruments' pioneering role in the field and their extensive experience in feedstock analysis and process optimization, the partnership with SixRing is poised to deliver significant benefits to biomethane producers. With instruments used at facilities worldwide, BPC offers evaluations that are both practical and solidly grounded.

For investors, this collaboration signals a promising future for BPC Instruments as it expands its influence in the renewable energy sector. With a strategic position in a growing market and a robust partnership with SixRing, BPC Instruments appears well-positioned for growth. Therefore, the recommendation for investors is to hold their positions in BPC Instruments, as the company continues to solidify its role in the biomethane industry.
