JonDeTech Sensors AB Expands Market Presence with Cionlabs Partnership

Sammanfattning

JonDeTech Sensors AB (publ) partners with Cionlabs Private Limited to evaluate and potentially integrate JonDeTech's sensors into high-volume smart home electronics. This strategic move aims to increase JonDeTech's market presence and drive innovation in the smart home technology sector.
JonDeTech Sensors AB announces a significant milestone as their sensors are set to be evaluated by Cionlabs for integration into high-volume smart home electronics.

JonDeTech Sensors AB (publ) ("JonDeTech" or "the Company") has announced a pivotal development in their business strategy. The Company's partner, Cionlabs Private Limited ("Cionlabs"), has decided to evaluate JonDeTech's sensors for a customer project, with the intention of integrating these sensors into high-volume smart home electronics products. Earlier this year, JonDeTech provided evaluation kits (EVK) to Cionlabs for this purpose.

Since the beginning of the year, JonDeTech has been actively working to expand its presence in several new geographic markets through strategically selected distributors and product companies. By providing EVKs to strategic partners, JonDeTech allows for the testing and evaluation of their sensors without requiring significant investments. Following numerous tests and evaluation processes, which demonstrated high quality and performance, Cionlabs has decided to implement JonDeTech's sensors in a customer project. One such project involves the development of next-generation smart biometric door locks.

Cionlabs, a product company that designs and manufactures electronic products for a wide range of global customers, sees great potential in JonDeTech's sensors. Should the project yield positive results, these sensors could be integrated into several existing high-volume products for various clients. JonDeTech's CEO, Leif Borg, emphasized the importance of this partnership, stating, "Our products are now with distributors and product companies who are evaluating and testing our unique sensors that we have developed over several years - and now the results are coming in the form of customer projects. We are in close dialogue with Cionlabs about integrating our sensors into other existing high-volume products after this initial project."

Dr. Sanjay Ahuja, CEO of Cionlabs, expressed satisfaction with the sensors, saying, "We evaluated the sensors earlier this year and are very pleased with the quality and performance. JonDeTech's sensors match our product portfolio and our customers' needs, and we see potential in integrating these sensors into several complex products, which would facilitate our ability to develop new innovative products. We are engineers who love innovation, and with JonDeTech's sensors, we can continue to develop the technology of the future."

In addition to the collaboration with Cionlabs, JonDeTech is engaged in several other customer projects. These projects involve the evaluation of JonDeTech's sensors by product companies and distributors for integration into products across various sectors, including consumer electronics, industrial automation, automotive industry, security and surveillance, and smart homes. Results from some of these evaluation processes are expected to be presented by the end of Q3 this year.
