The Nomination Committee of Alma Media Corporation’s shareholders has proposed changes for the Board of Directors to be presented at the Annual General Meeting on April 10, 2025. The Committee suggests maintaining seven board members, with current members Eero Broman, Heikki Herlin, Ari Kaperi, Alexander Lindholm, and Catharina Stackelberg-Hammarén being re-elected. New members Marika Auramo and Hanna Kivelä are proposed, with Stackelberg-Hammarén as Chair and Broman as Vice Chair. The proposed board members are considered independent of the company, except for Broman, Herlin, and Lindholm. The Committee also proposes increasing the annual remuneration for board members and outlines additional fees for meeting attendance, with adjustments for international members and meetings. Board members are required to acquire Alma Media shares with part of their remuneration. Shareholders with more than half of the voting rights support these proposals.

Interimsrapport: Alma Media Interim Report January—March 2024: Revenue on a par with the comparison period, supported by acquisitions. Adjusted operating profit decreased by 5.2% in an uncertain operating environment
Alma Media Corporation's Q1 2024 interim report reveals that revenue was similar to the comparison period, supported by acquisitions, but adjusted operating profit decreased by 5.2% due to an uncertain operating environment. The company's new segment structure and revised revenue distribution took effect on 1 March 2024, with business segments now divided into Alma Career, Alma Marketplaces, and Alma News Media. Despite a subdued operating environment, the company's business developed well, with revenue at MEUR 76.2. However, the weakened exchange rate of the Czech koruna negatively affected revenue performance. The company expects its full-year revenue and adjusted operating profit for 2024 to remain at the 2023 level.
